Is He Still Alive?
Well, is he?
Yes, so long as you can see something new when you visit this page. So, thank you for dropping in. As a writer I try never to forget that readers of fiction are entitled to expect to be diverted and entertained. That will always be my first aim. Find out more at my Amazon author page: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Chris-Calder/.
My website is being updated and incorporating a blog is one of the changes we are making. I shall try to make at least two new posts every month. I say ‘we’ because I am indebted to my webmaster guru Stuart Patterson for his help. I shall do the writing, but Stuart will do the real work and together we hope to succeed in our endeavours. So I would like to tell you that you can find him on L’homme de l’ecosse.
I’ll start with a bit of news: After nine years in a peaceful, tranquil corner of the Limousin region in central France, we shall be down-sizing soon. If you are interested in investing in a perfect rural retreat in a comfortable house with a swimming pool, an outside summer dining room with a pizza oven and the added bonus of an adjacent cottage that brings in letting income, please visit http://francehouseandgiteforsale.weebly.com or get in touch through my contact page. However, we are still taking bookings for self-catering holidays in our cottage next summer, so if you’d like to take a break in a totally peaceful, private rural retreat, you can find our Rose Cottage at: link to our gite. Tranquillity on a plate!
Finally, an update: The AACR (the Amerian Association for Cancer Research) has posted the story about how beating cancer started me writing novels. See it on https://aacrfoundation.org/Stories/Pages/chris-calder-bladder-cancer.aspx.
More, hopefully much more, anon…..
